Utopian Animal

Our Utopian animal is the lobster. The reason why we chose this animal to be in our utopia because it fits our Utopian motto and seal. Another reason why we chose the lobster as our Utopian animal is because it is a well known animal in New England. In addition the lobster is a perfect example of someone or something being free and happy which is part of our motto. In conclusion  , this is why we chose the lobster as our Utopian animal.

Journal Entry 3

If by any chance you decide to go on a vacation you still have to contribute to our community. This involves community calls with questions, problems, and events. Also all children have to have some type of educational game,event, or practice. Also you must practice our religion two times a day, when you wake up, and when you are about to go to bed. If you do not follow these rules of act you will be warned for not co-operating and or listening to our rules.

On a weekend day in The New England Utopia is on Saturday is a chore day you do chores until you have everything you want to do done after that you can do whatever you want. On Sunday you practice your religion for however long you are required to by your religion. After you are done with that the rest of the day is to relax.

A typical day in New England Utopia consists mostly for the mourning work. In the morning you go to work you might be a farmer,office worker, hairdresser/ barber, fisherman, fire fighter,cook, etc. Police officers are not needed because there is peace and no violence. Whatever job you do you must be good at it. After work you must go and contribute to the community. This includes picking up trash, helping others, and volunteering. This is a journal entry on a regular working day in the New England Utopia.

The reason why we formed our own separate Utopia was to get away from the real world.  One reason was because we thought that the government in the real world was unfair.  In our Utopian society we have a council of Elders who are chosen to run the society as government leaders. They are chosen because they are the oldest and wisest to lead our society.  Another reason why we created the New England Utopia was because in the real world their society was always jealous of other people and what they had for example clothing. Also in the real world there was to much violence, war and crime.  In our society we will not have violence, war and crime or jealousy because everyone will be treated the same and everyone will be given the same amount of everything. 

We believed that we needed to form a "more perfect" society because we want our Utopia to be a safe and fun place with no worries. Also because we want our government to make the correct decisions for our society.  With having a set meal  everyone eats the same meal at the same time. It will also prevent hunger and famine and everyone will be healthy.  With the restricted amount of children per family it will control the population and the amount of food cultivated.  Also in out society we grow our own food unlike in the  real world they grow there food but get it from people and places all over the world.  With all of these changes from the real world we know that we will have a successful society.

Utopian Society Name

The name of our Utopian society is New England Utopia. The reason why we chose the name for our society was because we liked New England and because it is a nice place to live.  We also chose it because we thought it would be an excellent place to start a Utopia.  Also in New England there is great soil to cultivate food.  This is why we chose this name for our Utopian society.

Governing Body

In our governing body everybody must be equal to the community. There will be no higher rankings in our utopia so no jealousy creates in the community. All of the elders get to make the decisions in the community. We decided to make the elders make our decisions because they are much more wise than adults and children. Everyone in the community gets the same amount of food, water, and attention. All of our food is produced within the community so there is no trade. In this utopia everybody must work for the community not themselves. There will be no currency in this community everything is free. We have created a three strike warning system so if you create problems, violence, and disrespect towards others you will be warned but on your third strike you and your family will be be excommunicated and thrown out of our community.

     We have established a utopia called The New England Utopia or NEU for short. In the society of the utopia the elders will not run the government but, be a governing figure. There are 4 meals a day breakfast which is a medium sized meal lunch which is a small meal dinner which will be a large meal and a snack. Seal Description

We came up the idea of the seal because most of New England is near and on the cost to an ocean which is full of lobster our utopia's animal.

New England Utopia Rules

 1) Everyone is equal.


 2)Equal amount of everything this includes land, food, and houses.


3) Three meals a day and snack -

7:00 am - Breakfast: medium sized meal
                                
12:00 noon-  Lunch: small sized meal
                                
1:00-4:00- snacks will be given if needed
                                  
6:30-Dinner-  large sized meal


4) If you break the rules 3 times you get kicked out of the utopia.


5) Only elders can control the decisions and government.


6) War and violence are prohibited.


7) Jealousy is not allowed.


8) Must work at least 2 hours within the community. 


9) Must not pollute the utopia.


10) Contibute to the utopia.

                               

New England Utopia Motto

Our motto is Freedom and happiness leads to success. This is our motto because we pulled ideas from other New England states. Also because we believe that everyone should be free and be able to be happy. In addition if everyone is happy and there is no violence then we will have a successful community.
